Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated AI engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI agents.

Basic qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize, integrate and deploy LLMs and other AI oriented solutions.
• Design, develop and deploy advanced and scalable generative AI pipelines, optimize search strategies and build custom algorithms.
• Analyze complex datasets and develop efficient data storage and cleaning strategies
• Conduct research and experiments with different stages of AI/ML pipelines to improve performance, user experience and cost efficiency

Skills

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.
• 3+ years proven experience in a previous role as a Data scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Computer Vision Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience in developing (data collection, model creation and calibration) and deploying Machine Learning applications.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models, generative AI, RAG and agentic AI.
• Strong understanding of semantic search and Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience working with PyTorch and/or Tensorflow/Keras.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as Langchain, Haystack, LlamaIndex etc
• Experience with embeddings and vector databases such as Weaviate, Pinecone, ChromaDB etc
• Familiarity with containerization (docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud integration and deployment with platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP. Skills in Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
